OVERVIEW

The Leadership Development Program is a focused 3-month weekend training course designed to empower early-career professionals and students with the skills needed to become effective team leaders and future managers. Ideal for graduates, and postgraduates, this program nurtures leadership from the ground upβ€”starting with self-awareness and personal development, then moving into team dynamics, communication, and decision-making.

Participants explore key leadership models, time-tested frameworks, and practical tools to understand and practice people management, motivation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving. The course emphasizes interactive activities such as group role plays, real-world case studies, mock interviews, and public speaking to help learners build confidence and competence in a supportive environment.

By the third month, students will have developed a personal leadership strategy, learned the essentials of workplace behavior, and become interview-ready. They will also receive individual feedback on their communication skills, leadership style, and areas of growth. The course culminates with a leadership pitch and capstone presentation, simulating real-life challenges faced by supervisors and team leaders.

Upon completion, participants will be prepared to take on junior leadership roles in customer service, sales, operations, or office administration, or pursue further professional development in management or HR. The program also encourages entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to lead community or volunteer initiatives with a structured, confident approach.
